Mango turmeric energy balls

One of the more popular recipes on this blog is my all time go to snack Salted Caramel Energy Balls. However when I first published it there were a bunch of people who were a little disappointed that it was made with dried fruits, namely dates. So I have been trying to come up with another recipe for energy balls which doesn't contain any dried fruits, without just reaching for a bunch of honey or syrup. This recipe for Mango Turmeric Energy Balls, using fresh (or frozen) mango instead of any dried fruits, is the result. I added the turmeric to give them an intense yellow color and of course to get that super potent anti inflammatory spice in there ;) And as a bonus the recipe is also grain free - I know a lot you who loves that :D
