When you look for a pleasant lunch…you look for great company, free flowing conversation, and yummy food….. I finally discovered this combination is truly possible as I went out with a group of lovely women….. The place they chose was an introduction to authentic Chinese cuisine to me….yet…a vegetarian place.. .yeeaaaahhhhh….this made me extra happy… Without further ado…..let’s introduce…..Xiang yun Vegetarian House. The restaurant is located behind hotel Alora close to Vistana in Bukit Jambul Simple decor…. not fancy at all…you could very well make out it was a place frequented by regulars…. For a person newly introduced to Malaysian Chinese cuisine…I would honestly say….I was a little unsure of what to expect…. As we entered …we were greeted right to our seats with the menu….easy ha.. now to figure out the choice…..I had trusted hands…so it was easy… our order was simple..starting with rice, satay sticks with a sweet peanut sauce drizzled all over, a spicy Indian fish curry with stewed in okra(now the fish made of tofu….wrapped in sea weed), a tofu braised…stir fry okra..a house special mushroom..and… for drinks…I chose a hot nutmeg juice I was amazed at the speed at which the food arrived.. and clean […]
