Slab pies are especially great for the holidays because they can easily feed a crowd. Plus, I always love a slab pie because it’s practically soggy-bottom proof! It’s so easy to get the bottom crust crisp and golden, but I often recommend, a baking stone definitely helps! The filling is smooth and the topping is crumbly – combined with the butter all-butter crust, it’s perfect for a holiday table.
