candied bacon and tomato jam ice cream

I was inspired by a lovely Tomato Tart Tatine from Bon Appetit Magazine...the tomatoes were so sweet, so good and I knew I'd be making that tart for years to come. Coupled with brown sugared bacon, the tomato jam is a recipe on its own. Save a little to spread on your morning toast!
