Cat on a hot tin roof (variation on puttanesca)

It was a very, very hot day. Tomatoes, anchovy, summer. I decided to make this one using freshly grated tomatoes, crudo-style, chilli, salt-preserved capers and no garlic, to really emphasize the hot, salty, tomatoey July night of it all. <br /> <br />And then the cat almost-- almost but not quite! -- got to it.
