I really missed family barbeque like I would have at home so I decided to try to re-create it on a college budget and keeping in mind that in a dorm you have no kitchen to speak of, and even if you get one of the keys to the kitchen, you will have to share it with at least three other cooks. So to avoid this problem, all this needs is a crockpot, two knifes, and about 12 hours. The total cost for this really depends on the meat you buy and whether or not sauce is on sale, but it is about $20 and makes about 20-25 sandwiches for every 5 lbs of meat.
