Cookies and cream was my "go-to" flavor as a kid - from $0.99 cones from Thrifty's to Coldstones, Golden Spoons, Yogurtland, even Pressed Juicery's yogurt. It always had to resemble the cookies and cream/oreo flavors =) So nostalgic of my own childhood. What better way to incorporate that than with macarons! Flavor varieties are endless and this recipe I saw (butterandbrioche.com) inspired me to try it out! SO GOOD! I wanted to just dip these in almond milk or mix into vanilla ice cream.
