Adapted from Recipe Girl, these bars are one of my favorite treats. I'm always a sucker for anything snickerdoodle, but I wanted to make these bars my own. I reduced the sugar, making a cakier bar instead of a dense brownie like texture. I also swapped the cinnamon chips for walnuts. Walnuts are one of my favorite nuts and in this recipe, they truly shine. They add texture and that classic walnut flavor melds perfectly with the cinnamon. A little (or a lot) more cinnamon and some extra glaze make these a treat to be savored!
