#gluten free & #vegan #cassava pone, a #delicious #nutritious #treat

This is one of my favourite desserts growing up in #Trinidad. Its a baked dish sort of a cross between cake and pudding in texture. Instead of flour you use vegetables as the main components. OPTION1: For a creamier texture you may use evaporated cows milk instead. OPTION2: over time you may add more of the wet ingredients for more moisture or less wet ingredients for less moisture. Each family has their own recipe for Pone so if you read 10 recipes posted online they would probably be 10 versions. This is adapted from my mother's traditional recipe.
