I grew up loving Romanian food from my grandmother. We always had Borscht with Flunken, Sweet and sour meat balls, holishkes, Romanian eggplant. These are our holiday staples. <br />White Turnip is a dish that's always on our table as an appetizer. <br />I love it! During passover I put it on matzoh with Romanian eggplant.
