Grilled fontina with lingonberry preserves

I use the word grilled here as in grilled cheese sandwiches. I think this treat captures everything that is good about grilled cheese. Gooey melted cheese and the crunchy buttery crust of the bread although in this case the only bread is the croissant bread crumbs. The surprise here is the lingonberries which I really like to use as a dip for my "grilled cheese."
