A few interesting things about the recipe- <br /> <br />1) Use of Gram or Chickpea Flour (shown in the picture) <br /> <br />2) Has many variants (you can have it as a soup/as a curry with rice /indian tortillas and make it with/without dumplings) <br /> <br />And the most important one for me - <br /> <br />3) Has tips from my mom/mom in law/sister in law/husband and I absolutely love the end result! Everyone in our family likes to cook and this recipe is enjoyed by all! <br /> <br />If it’s a Sunday afternoon in the northern parts of India and the entire family is at home for lunch,more often than not Kadi Chawal (pronounced as Kar-hee Cha-val) was on the menu. <br /> <br />
