Pumpkin, almond spiced cake

The pumpkin, almonds and a lot of spices give this cake the colors and scents of the season. It is a moist and spicy cake, simple as all the cakes I like to do and eat; and that leaves an incredible aroma in the kitchen as it bakes in the oven. As this cake batter is not very dense, some pieces of the topping will sink a little, others will sink completely. In the end, crunchy bits of almond spread here and there, as if they were meant to be like this from the start.
