The best summer salsa

This recipe was inspired by an article Michelle Obama wrote for Better Homes & Gardens. The original recipe was for fish tacos and melon salsa which you serve with feta. We thought, like with everything Mrs. Obama does, that looks amazing... and it was! But the real star was the combo of the salsa with the feta. So we got rid of the fish and the tacos, added some more summer veg (basically whatever is in the CSA), and before we knew it we were sitting clutching spoons wondering how often it was acceptable to eat only salsa for dinner...
