Put dates, coconut, cookies and nuts together and what do you get? Thats right, melt-in-the-mouth date slices. <br /> <br />I’ve adapted the recipe of a date-cake served at Bagels&Beans cafe’s in the Netherlands. <br /> <br />The texture is the best about this recipe. The dates become sticky and a bit like caramel, the cookies and nuts stay crunchy! <br /> <br />You can make them in a big round tin or square tin and slice it in slabs or like a pie. Personally i like to make cute individual ones.
