Every sabbath, my baubie would make a giant meal including a brisket. My mom watched her make it and then taught me. I know it has deviated over the years, but this is how I do it. I'm sure that there is some old Jewish mother voodoo involved, but this is just how I make it...I don't really understand the science behind it, but it always turns out great. You will need a large, covered roasting pan and a soup pot.
