I never realized how much I channel memories of my mother through my cooking until Kim and I started our beloved blog Out A Thyme. I have such happy memories in the kitchen so I guess it only makes sense. In the 70s, after my mom made us a delicious dinner, my sister and I were responsible for cleaning the kitchen. We would sing “One Tin Soldier” from the movie Billy Jack, at the top of our lungs!
