This past New Years, I tried black eyed peas for the first time. How I grew up in Georgia and didn’t eat these on the regular is beyond me… and is beside the point. Point is, ever since, I’ve been craving these little beans and trying to come up with fun ways to eat them that won’t make Matt’s mouth pucker and his eyes roll. The answer: bacon. The answer is always bacon!
