Grandma frances’ oatmeal cookies

These are my Grandma Frances' fabulous oatmeal cookies. These have always been a family favorite. We used to have to make a double-batch every few weeks when we were kids, then we'd have to put 3 cookies in a Ziploc bag and they'd go in the freezer for my Dad to take in his lunch bucket every day. They're actually the best straight out of the freezer, especially if they're just ever-so-slightly undercooked for chewiness!
