Slow cooked sweet beans
My son and his wife recently had a baby ---yes, I'm a grandma (DeDe is preferred)---and I made a big batch of these for the weary parents. As the title implies, they are sweet and savory too, and you can alternate different kinds of beans. Plus, it's made in a crock pot, so you just assemble and forget about it!
