When I was growing up, my mom made Maple Syrup by mixing Karo syrup and mapleine together. I always wished we had Mrs. Butterworth's, mostly because I thought the bottle shaped like a lady was cool, not to mention the fact that she came alive and talked to the kids at breakfast on the commercial. When I finally tried Mrs. Butterworth's I found that it was not even close to as good as my mom’s homemade syrup.
