This is quite possibly, the oldest recipe I have. I have great memories of visiting my Grandma when I was younger - and she would always prepare this because it was my dad's favorite. The cake is light, and bakes up very easily. The topping is about enough to send any sweet lover over the edge. I sometimes double the recipe for a 9x13 pan.
