Before I opened my own shop, I tried all the other frappe drinks, I tried the mixes, all of them tasted fake. I found that you need a good binder, otherwise it is too watery and it separates too much. If you don't add the ice cream, it will NOT TASTE LIKE A COFFEE HOUSE FRAP! Okay, that being said, the one scoop of ice cream adds less calories and fat than the powdered binders used at the other coffeehouses. Cheers!
