This is a riff on a Bee Sting Cake (Bienenstich). A sticky-crunchy honey almond topping is baked as an upside-down cake. It's a moist kuchen (cake), risen with yeast and baking powder. NO kneading is involved! It's filled with a quick version of a pastry cream. Quick to make, it's an impressive presentation and absolutely scrumptious! A must try for brunch or dessert!
