Ross’s favorite shepherd’s pie

This was the first meal I made for my husband while we were still dating. It's still his favorite! Hearty stew with chunks of meat, topped with mashed potatoes and then baked with cheese. This meal is wonderful on a cold winter night. This recipe makes one for now and one to freeze for later.
