Creamy sun dried tomato pesto rotini

Boy I need a shorter title. This is a pretty heavy, pretty excellent pasta dish that is creamy, filling, and bursting with flavor. I use rotini, but you could sub your favorite pasta shape. You might also bake it, if that's your thing. It is a little similar to P-Dubs Pasta alla Vodka. The base pesto is also useful as a salad dressing or spooned on top of crackers.
