I never liked baked macaroni & cheese until I made it like this. Make sure you broil it for a few minutes at the end to brown the cheese on top; that makes it so tasty. The original recipe called for cheddar cheese, but I like to try different combos. Cheddar and a little shredded Swiss was a delicious option. Add extra shredded cheese, you will not be sorry.
