My family is Acadian, and this is something I grew up eating. This is my comfort food and very easy to prepare. I could eat it every day. There are 2 ways to prepare the meat/broth. th are mentioned below, but one will add more prep time to the recipe. This is great with dumplings, which I have also posted a basic recipe for.
